NABE PINNACLE BOOK ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS SUMMER 2014

August 30, 2014

The National Association of Book Entrepreneurs awards books in several categories with a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award. There were a number of truly excellent books honored by NABE this summer, and I want to congratulate each of the authors who were honored with a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award.  Congratulations to my fellow award winners in the Children’s Interest category: Dennis Stein for The Magic Cat, Millie Vigoren for Ant Millie’s Bikini Zoo Review, Barbara Prignano for The Tiny Tomato and His Terrific Manners, and Carole P. Roman for If You Were Me and Lived in Russia.  Having seen the caliber of the books by these other authors, I am honored and humbled that the fine people of the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs have decided to include me and my illustrator, Nzuji de Magalhães, for our collaboration on Tiny Bigfoot’s Big Choice.  Tiny Bigfoot says, “Be the Wave!”
